Creative activities and healthy snacks will round out the afternoon, including creating and binding handcrafted books for the children to capture their experiences in the outdoors through journaling and illustration.
  • July 15-19: Cooking and Concoctions. Do you have a future chef in your midst, maybe a future chemist who likes to tinker in the kitchen? Campers will learn how to make homemade salve and lip balm, lotion and remedies. Enjoy the tempting aroma of freshly made soups and mouth-watering desserts under the expert guidance of a local chef. Make your own cookbook as well. Bon Appétit!
  • July 22-26: The Natural World. Activities and crafts will include silk dying with plants, and growing vegetables from seedlings.
  • July 29-August 2: Make Your Own Music. This week, campers will actively explore the world of music and sound.  They will  make their own instruments (many from recycled materials), play musical games and try their hand at songwriting.  Talented local musicians will visit each day to share performance and a love of music.  Each day will include time outdoors, creative play and healthy snacks.
